For the third consecutive year, Pro-K9 attended the City of Casey Microchipping Event, held on 15th March, 2009. In contrast with last year, we were very fortunate with the weather, which decided to grant us a lull in the wind (although some rather strong gusts had many of us holding onto our hats and evidenced by some of the 'paper weights' you might identify on Pro-K9's table in a few of the photo's below!!) and rain at least until the completion of th e event!
Yet again this year, the Casey City Council worked tirelessly to provide a day for its residents that not only supplied an excellent service in the identification of pet ownership, but also one that gave opportunity to everyone who attended to access information concerning their pets.
Pro-K9 was found to be a very busy stall, with lots of customers enjoying not only the free Eagle Pack show bags, but also free yummy treats kindly supplied by "Luv'Em". Of course, there was the standard "help yourself" bowl of lollies that Pro-K9's stall is also becoming known for .... but these were strictly for the humans (not just for the kids though!!
It was great to be able to chat with and answer questions for so many people who brought their dogs and puppies along, It was also wonderful to meet so many dogs, and of course, to grab the opportunity for a cuddle with the puppies!

Pro-K9 will look forward to seeing you there next year ........................................................
(Thank you to Kate, my assistant who helped me with all the hustle and bustle in the busy times - which was most of the day! - and who also took many of the photo's. )
